Get SPFA PCP Certified for FREE

We are pleased to announce that SPRAY FOAM SYSTEMS is a sponsor of the SPFA PCP Field Exams during the upcoming Sprayfoam 2018 Convention and Expo. The SPFA PCP will be offering Field Exams for FREE thanks to the generous donations of SPF Industry partners!  The savings for contractors range from $700 – $1350 per Field Exam.  We are proud to be part of the group that is making this possible!

If you are considering becoming an SPFA Certified SPF Master Installer – now is the time to do it!  The most expensive requirement for becoming a PCP Certified Master Installer is the Field Exam and we are offering it for FREE at Sprayfoam 2018 on Monday and Tuesday, January 29-30 in Mobile, AL.

If you aren’t familiar with the SPFA’s Professional Certification Program (PCP), please visit www.sprayfoam.org/certification for information on all certification levels.  Specific details for the SPF Roofing Certification Program and SPF Insulation Certification Program are in the Certification Handbooks including descriptions of the Field Exams and the actual Field Exam testing form. The Field Exam is an over the shoulder evaluation of a candidate’s abilities which are needed to become certified.  Typically, a Field Exam is done at a contractor’s jobsite which means the contractor is using his own material and supplies.  We make it easy for you –the parking lot of the Mobile, Alabama Convention Center will be converted into mock-up roofing and insulation job sites thanks to the donations of many suppliers in our industry and the talent of dedicated volunteers. Please view these videos so you can see what to expect in the SPF Roofing Field Exam and the SPF Insulation Field Exam.

It is important to note that it doesn’t matter in which order you meet the requirements for becoming an SPF Certified Master Installer.  You can take the Field Exam first and then meet the other requirements at your convenience.  You need to successfully complete all requirements in order to become certified; however it doesn’t matter in which order you do them.  Please look at the Field Exam Form in the back of the Certification Handbooks to see exactly what you will be tested on. The Field Exam is for those who have hands on the gun spraying experience.  In order to become certified, a candidate must have 500,000 board feet or square feet of spraying experience, but you may still take the test if you aren’t up to that experience level, but working towards it.  If you think you can successfully demonstrate you have the ability to meet the requirements of the Field Exam, we encourage you to take it with this great opportunity.

Please review the attached flyer for more details on the Field Exams and other PCP opportunities at the upcoming SPFA Convention including Exam Preparatory Courses and Written Exam schedule.  Space is limited, so register soon!  For those who register by January 2, 2018, you will be entered into a drawing for three great prizes. See the attached flyer for details.  If you have any questions, contact Kelly Marcavage, SPFA PCP Certification Director at [email protected]

We hope to see you there!
